Directions: To begin, the Aviation & Manufacturing Units, you will be on the Computer, click on SMS Share, click on Reed, go to either Aviation (Unit 8) or Manufacture (Unit 9). These Units will explain the process or the procedure needed to complete the assignments. The following steps are your guide to completing these Module Units.
  1. Locate SMS Share, click on Reed, choose either the Aviation or Manufacturing Unit, and complete the first Task.

  2. After completing Task 1, which should be saved, complete Task 2, which is to select one of the three modules to do as a project. Example; Aviation module – select either Flight Simulator, Glider, or Water Bottle Rocket

  3. After selecting the Module you like to do - Locate the Black Notebook, located near the instructor’s desk. The Notebook will have the name of the module you have selected.

  4. Now that you have the Notebook, look through the notebook and get an idea of what will ask of you to do in this Module.

  5. There are 7 Lessons within the Notebook; each lesson must be completed before you move to the next Lesson. There will be assignments as well to be completed.

  6. Again locate the SMS File Share, Reed File, and click on the Module which you have chosen.

  7. Complete all of the items located within the module unit; assignments.

  8. View any videos or Sci Tech programs which they ask you to complete within the lessons of the notebook.

  9. View the power point presentation, take notes for future reference.

  10. Locate the program from the Sci and Tech software. Read and take notes.

  11. View all "Vocabulary terms," enhance your knowledge. Take notes for future assessment.

  12. Locate and view the video, located near the instructor’s desk.

  13. Locate the project kit from the instructor.

  14. Review all "information sheets," begin the construction phase of the project.

  15. Continue with the construction phase.

  16. Review your construction phases and contact the instructor for improvement evaluation.

  17. Locate the "Finishing phase worksheet," begin the finishing process.

  18. Complete the Post-test, and save to your portfolio.

  19. Locate the Module / Project critique sheet, complete and save to your portfolio.

  20. The "Final worksheet," to discuss the completion of the project with the instructor.
