Directions: Create an architectural floor plan.
Print a copy of graph paper.
Each square on the paper represents one foot or 1'.
Sketch a map of your classroom and its major features such as doors and desks.
Make a scale drawing from the sketch using a drawing program such as Paint Shop.
Save the drawing as floor_plan.jpg.
Save the drawing in a folder called engineering.
Utilize the major drawing tools such as lines and boxes.
Show at least 2 room dimensions.
Optional: Draft a CAD (computer-aided design) floor plan from the drawing.
Optional: Create a Google Sketch-Up of the room.
